Ich finde, das Buch war relativ schwierig zu lesen, aber es hat trotzdem Spaß gemacht. Gut - vielleicht hätte ich mit dem 1. Band der Reihe anfangen sollen und nicht mit dem 3. - manchmal hat mir der Kontext gefehlt. Aber abgesehen davon fand ich das Buch sehr unterhaltsam, teilweise auch lustig und auf jeden Fall einfallsreich! Die FBI-Agenten war allerdings nicht wo christlich, wie die Kurzbeschreibung das Glauben macht.
Urban-Fantasy ist hier auch wirklich Urban-Fantasy, mit Betonung auf Urban. Diese "realen" Aspekte waren hier nämlich viel mehr in den Vordergrund gerückt, wobei die Fantasy-Aspekte erwähnt wurden, als wären sie nichts besonderes, so à la: Zwei Frauen kamen auf mich zu, es waren die Göttinnen der Flüsse und wir hielten ein kleines Schwätzchen.
Fand ich erfrischend, nicht immer dieses 'Oh mein Gott, Magie existiert!' Natürlich, in Band 3 ist das für Peter nichts Neues mehr, trotzdem finde ich, dass er das ziemlich cool macht :D

Alles in allem war Whispers Under Ground eine schwierige, aber doch sehr unterhaltsame Lektüre und bekommt
